Located at Kota Belud, Tambutuon Village is a small village located along the riverside beneath the mount Kinabalu. 

I have chosen to stay at Tambatuon Homestead in this village. The homestead was managed by the young couple named Fendy & Vera. There was also a mini mart next to it for you to buy some basic cooking ingredients. Thinking of swimming in the river? this maybe one of your best choice where you can also do a river jump from the big rock. 

A break away from the world

I literally pampered myself with the stay in this village as it is the week days just a week over off-peak season. The water is cold and refreshing. If you are looking for a village life along your way to Kundasang, this is one of the MUST-GO attraction place.

Not to mention also, in this village, you can have an awesome view of the Mount Kinabalu as shown above. Do spare at least 1-2 days here to catch the clear view of the scenery.
